Xinet (NorthPlains)

Xinet, a NorthPlains acquisition, is a DAM system that is focused on Work In Progress.

Installed in more than 28 countries, it’s a flexible, efficient DAM for InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator workflows for smaller production teams and creative workgroups within the enterprise.

Xinet started as a division of mt Xinu in the 1990s, to build software for the Kinetics FastPath and file-serving software for the Apple Lisa.

North Plains acquired Xinet in 2012 to expand its creative production capabilities in the DAM ecosystem.
